Later drive down to Recon Peo to get the Inner line permits from SDM office if not got issued the previous day.

Later visit local Government office to attain Innerline Permit (required in order to enter the restricted area between Jangi and Sumdo for foreign national). This process may take 2-3 hours.

Drive to Nako around 4-5 Hrs, On Arrival Check-in to Kinner Camps.

Evening Visit Nako Lake and Nako Village.

Dinner & Overnight stay at Kinner Camps.

After breakfast trek towards Nako Pass

Drive to Tabo around 3-4 Hrs

Enroute visit the Mummy temple at Giu.

On arrival Check-in Sonam Guesthouse or similar.

Later sightseeing walking tour of Tabo Monastery and Tabo Village.

Tabo Monastery: Tabo (3050 Mts.) monastery. Founded in 996 A.D. Tabo is renowned for its breathtaking murals and stucco images. The largest monastic complex in Spiti, the old complex has 9 temples & 23 Chortens. In Trans Himalayan Buddhism, Tabo’s sanctity is next only to Tibet’s Tholing Gompa.

After breakfast at the hotel drive for a full day excursion into Pin Valley.

Visit Kungri Gompa and Sagnam Village.

Drive further upto Mud Village, Mud is the last village in the Pin Valley.

Drive back to Tabo for the overnight stay

After breakfast drive to Kaza

Enroute visit Dhankar Gompa 07 Km by a side road from Schilling at 3870 Mts.

Also visit Lalung Gompa further up from Dhankar Monastery.

Arrive Kaza and check into hotel.

Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel Sakya Abode or similar.

Breakfast at Hotel.

After Breakfast visit Ki & Kibber monastery (4116 Mts. /11 Kms). The monastery with rare paintings and scriptures is the oldest and biggest in Spiti. Go further to Kibber (4140 Mts) and Gate Village.

Later drive to visit Lhangza (4400 Mts.) & Comic Village (4516 Mts.)

Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel Sakya Abode or similar.

An early start is required in order to visit Chandertal enroute.

Start drive latest by 5 A.M. (Even better if can start earlier than this).

Drive past several villages along the road in the Spiti Valley.

Cross Kunzum Pass (4800 Mts)

Continue drive to Manali over Rohtang Pass (3900 Mts)

Arrive Manali and check into Hotel Snow Peak Retreat or similar for the overnight stay.

Sightseeing of Manali visiting Hadimba Devi Temple, Old Manali Village and Vashisht Hot Spring.

Overnight at hotel in Manali.

Breakfast at the hotel.

Check out and start drive to Chandigarh.

Arrive Chandigarh and check into hotel for the overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to airport to board flight to Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi transfer to hotel for day use till 10 P.M. Later transfer IGI Airport for the flight back home.
